Came across this unit while doing some reorganizing the shop this afternoon.

We think it’s a holdover from when the building housed the police department.

Also, car 54 is in my garage at the moment (yes I have autocrossed my crown vic as #54)

Sadly I work for a city. We have to add it to the skids of surplus equipment that are going to be auctioned off when we move to a new building. It will probably be lumped together with outdated computers and sell for scrap.

They have two surplus Crown Vics that they’re debating how to dispose of. If they auction them I’ll probably be placing a bid on one of them.

Hopefully someone into vintage electronics is there to pick it up and save it from the scrapper.

It’s a possibility. The city is only about 20 miles from where they hold Hamvention every year.
